Rosa ‘Eye of the Tiger’ (PBR) – 3 litre pot
Otter Price: £12.99
Rosa ‘Eye of the Tiger’ is a compact floribunda bush rose with yellow semi-double flowers from summer through to early autumn. The flowers have a smudged red centre and will fade to cream as the flowers mature. Mid-green glossy leaves will drop as autumn progresses through to winter.
Care instructions:
– For best results, plant at any time of year providing the ground is not frozen or extremely dry.
– Most roses are suitable for planting in containers, ensure the pots are large and deep so as not to restrict growth.
– Roses need to be in a free well-drained potting media, whether this is planted in the ground or containers. Containers must have drainage holes to allow excess water to drain freely.
– When planting directly into the ground we recommend first adding some organic matter and then a general fertiliser to the area. Carefully tease apart the roots to encourage growth development and ensure the graft union (where the rootstock and cultivar are joined) is at soil level and not planted below.
– Prune back in late winter or early spring. Floribunda roses prune back hard 6 inches from ground level.
– Apply general fertiliser every spring and summer whilst also applying a generous layer of mulch approximately 3 inches. This can be repeated in the following years, only adding more mulch when existing levels have dropped.
