Dianthus ‘Letitia Wyatt’ (AGM) – 1.5 litre pot
Otter Price: £8.99
Dianthus ‘Letitia Wyatt’ has double pale pink flowers with a strong delicate fragrance which can be enjoyed June to September. It’s a low growing compact semi evergreen perennial with sage green narrow lanceolate leaves. With a height and spread of 50cm this Dianthus is ideal to plant amongst a mixed border or alternatively plant into a decorative pot in multiples to get a fragrant impact close to the house. Preferably position in full sun to partial sun to maximise flowering.
Care Instructions:
• For best results, plant in the spring when the soil is no longer frozen.
• Keeping the plants in a container is possible; use large and deep containers to prevent roots from freezing during winter.
• Ensure the containers have drainage holes in the bottom as planting in small containers can lead to root-bound plants.
• Adequate watering is essential after planting, but the soil should be kept well drained to prevent root rot.
• To maintain the plant’s appearance, remove faded flowers, spent stems and damaged leaves.
• Use balanced organic fertilisers to feed older plants in February/March and repeat in July/August.
