Otter Garden Centres, a leading garden centre based in Ottery St Mary, is looking for a highly organized, motivated and experienced Finance Assistant to join our team.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchase Ledger Management: Processing and recording supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
  • Sundry Finance Tasks: Assisting with various other financial administration tasks as required by the department
Key Requirements:
  • Previous Finance Experience: Experience with purchase ledger.
  • Numeracy Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with numbers accurately.
  • IT Proficiency: Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Team Player: Willingness to support the wider finance team with a variety of tasks.
  • Good Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and suppliers.
