A team from our Ottery St Mary store are limbering up this summer to raise money for Hospiscare.

On Monday 20 June, the team are walking routes of 7.5 miles, 15 miles or a 30 mile route around East Devon.

Last year, the team raised more than £14,000 for Hospiscare by doing the Twilight Walk and other sponsored events throughout the year.

Lauren Pearcy from our Ottery St Mary team said: “We did a similar event last year and raised nearly £4,000 for Hospiscare so after its success wanted to do it again but slightly bigger”.

In addition to fundraising, we sponsored the charity’s popular Open Gardens, where gardeners open up their gardens to be enjoyed by members of the community in return for a donation to Hospiscare – and we’re proud to sponsor the event again for 2022.

As the hospice charity for Exeter, Mid and East Devon, Hospiscare cares for over 2,000 patients and their families every year. The charity relies on local support to provide this care at no cost to patients.
